BinWeevils clothing and bag ranges to launch this Autumn

Published on: June 20th, 2012

BinWeevils has announced that its clothing and bag ranges will be available in key UK retailers from October.

The clothing ranges will initially focus on t-shirts, hoodies, nightwear and underwear with product featuring key BinWeevils characters such as Tink, Clott, Dosh, Bunty and Posh. Collections will be targeted towards both boys and girls aged 6 to 11 years, and will bring a fashionable edge to the irreverent BinWeevils brand.

Amelia Johnson, director and co-founder of BinWeevils.com, said “Creating and designing an extensive fashion range based on the BinWeevils characters for our audience is a hugely exciting development for BinWeevils.com. We know how important fashion is to our audience, and it’s an area that’s another great physical extension for the BinWeevils.com digital world. Somerbond, Aykroyds TDP and Trade Mark have developed some fantastic, colourful, innovative designs, which we think our audience will love. Given the important role fashion plays in the lives of today’s young people, we can’t wait to see product hit the high-street”

Mark Tomlin, director of licensing at Somerbond Limited, said: “We are really excited to be working on BinWeevils, which is quickly becoming one of the hottest properties in this emerging area of licensing. Retailers have received the initial sample range with great enthusiasm and excitement. Initial listings are now confirmed with a number of high-profile high street retailers with a view to a much larger roll out of product as the full range of merchandise is launched. This is just the beginning in what we feel will be a long-term partnership with the BinWeevils team.”

These ranges complement a growing range of product for BinWeevils including toys, trading cards, books and magazines from key partners including Character Options, Panini, Macmillan and Egmont.
